Cornflowers are a beautiful addition to any garden. They have delicate thin petals and can grow up 3 feet tall. The cornflower has a long slender stem. Cornflowers are annual wildflowers. I photographed this single blue cornflower in the garden at Historic Tuckahoe in Richmond, Virginia.
I used a vintage Helios lens to create this soft pastel appearance and to blur the background
