The Boathouse restaurant is a restaurant and wedding venue with panoramic views of the James River, and the City of Richmond, Virginia in the urban Rocketts Landing urban neighborhood.
The restaurant opened in 2009, after renovations from an old power plant that once generated steam power for Richmond's trolley system. The smokestack from the old power plant remained in place, although no longer a working smokestack.
