The morning sunlight illuminates the fall foliage on Sharp Top Mountain with mirrored reflections in Abbott Lake at the Peaks of Otter along the Blue Ridge Parkway in Bedford, Virginia. The Abbott Lake Loop Trail can be reached from the parking lot closest to the Blue Ridge Parkway at the Peaks of Otter Lodge. Sharp Top Mountain is maintain by the National Park Service, and is National Park.

This was my first visit to the Peaks of Otter, located on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Bedford, to see the fall foliage
